As rx'd 26.06. I spent the last 2 minutes trying to get the last MU out with two failed attempts before I could come up out of the dip position.

4MUs from hanging position. The rest from standing.

It will be at least a couple of months before I can do an entire WOD with MUs from the hanging position.

Hat off to you Kam for doing MUs like this and the sub 20 time. Awesome!

looking forward to the rest day tomorrow. Jason and Luke WOD in 3 days takes it toll.

Wouldn't have it any other way!!!

I just had a look at the last time I did this WOD in August. I was beating myself up for doing it in a dismal 44 minutes and I was dreaming of the day when I could do a MU (yes I am fully aware of how sad that sounds).

The time I got today was a real supprise and gave me the opportunity to again reflect on how much I enjoy coming to this gym.

Last night I returned to the field for the summer season of Oz tag. I played my last game 8 months ago and I weighted 82kg. Now at 73kg sprinting on the wing felt like I was flying. To add to this the strength I had gained meant I was hitting the ball and accelerating hard off the mark.A few clashes on tagging had little impact on core stability and made it easy for me to switch quickly from defense to attack. Having gained this new found stamina I played 2 games. In the 2nd I scored 3 tries and still had a little gas.

I owe this all to CFX, in particular Mick for his personal training.

Unfortunately I have no rings down here yet and as as I am now doing WOD's with muscle ups, I am dissapointed I couldn't attempt this one. I picked one from the Crossfit HQ as a substitute.

10 Pull Ups
10 Thrusters 30kg
As Many rounds in 20 mins

As rx'd, with ring dips assisted by raised legs, and pullups.

I'm happy, cos last time I got 27:06, but all the pullups were assisted, so I pretty much got the same time this go but with proper pullups :D

Can't wait 'til I can do Muscle Ups!

Great work Adrian! From getting 44mins with pullups and dips to 26mins with muscle ups, that's phenomenal! Legend material.

And Kam. Geez.
When I first came to the gym, I thought you were a fit bugger. Now... Machine doesn't come close.

Pull up greenband, dips on pipes still.... cant wait to get on rings... shoulder :(
